Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - SRT in Washington, DC. You will participate in vaccine administration, HIV care programs, and collaborative drug therapy management, including PrEP/PEP therapies, with attention to quality and patient safety.

You will operate in a multi-location schedule and contribute to preventive health initiatives while aligning with AHF core values and mission. State licensure is required or pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensure to practice as a Pharmacist in the applicable state.
• Experience in immunization and preventive health services preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers on drug therapy management.

Responsibilities

Contribution Profile

A Clinical Pharmacist -SRT contributes to AHF bybeing assigned to more than one location, based on scheduling/geographical needs. Expanding primary functions of pharmacist such as providing individualized health promotion & disease prevention, including vaccine, long-acting HIV medicine administration, Diabetes monitoring, Nicotine reduction programs and other subject matters, in collaboration with other AHF Providers.

A Clinical Pharmacist - SRT enhances the reputation of AHF by improving the outcomes of AHF patients, enhancing current AHF services, expanding opportunities for professional growth and satisfaction, and assisting with ongoing development of the AHF Healthcare System.

The Clinical Pharmacist - SRT will work as part of a close knit team to provide individualized health promotion and disease prevention, including the administration of immunization, Diabetes and Smoking Cessation programs, as well as other subject matter expertise (SME) programs developed by AHF, with appropriate collaborative drug therapy management authority. Includes prescriptive authority where this is legally & organizationally authorized, such as PrEP and PEP therapies

Licenses/ Certifications: Additional state licenses as business needs require. State Pharmacist License for the state you are currently applying.
