Job summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to work evenings (12:30 PM–9 PM) on a rotating schedule (every 3rd weekend and holiday). The position is a 50/50 split between first and second shifts.

The Clinical Pharmacist
  • Validates the accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders.
  • Compounds medications and accurately provides prescribed medications according to professional standards and specific indications.
  • Provides consultative services regarding medications, interactions, and other drug‑related information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Follows defined medication‑related protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Documents clinical activities and applicable outcomes.
  • Maintains satisfactory working relationships with pharmacy leadership, staff, and other hospital departments, committees, and administrators.
  • Places a strong emphasis on patient care, with the patient as the highest priority and central focus.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree, or combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Experience
  • Clinical pharmacist experience in a healthcare setting.
Certification and Licensure
  • Board eligible for Pennsylvania licensure may be accepted in lieu of an actual license; PA pharmacist license required within 4 months of hire date.
  • PA pharmacist license.
