Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to lead medication-use processes and provide advanced pharmaceutical care across designated areas.
The role requires Virginia Pharmacist license, BLS/ACLS, 3+ years of clinical experience; residency and areas such as Internal Medicine or Cardiology are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Norfolk, VA with a focus on safety, education, and system improvement.

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist participates in all aspects of the medication-use system while delivering comprehensive and personalized pharmaceutical care to patients in their designated areas. This role assumes leadership and accountability for specific clinical pharmacy areas, demonstrates advanced skills and expertise, and obtains advanced certification in their practice area if available.
