Position Overview

This position is responsible for activities related to the administration and management of pharmacy programs, including but not limited to:

1. Development, implementation, and maintenance of a disease state formulary system
2. Utilization management programs
3. Specialty pharmacy management
4. Medication therapy management and client support
5. Development of innovative clinical programs

Required Job Qualifications:

• Registered Pharmacist in the United States
• Experience with window-based word processing, spreadsheets, and relational databases
• Drug information skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of practice guidelines, practice parameters, pharmacoeconomics, quality improvement processes, and medication use evaluation principles
• Ability to perform computer entry for long periods
• Skills to handle multiple priorities and communicate professionally

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of pharmacy practice experience
• Additional certifications and residency experience
• Managed care or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience
• Experience with MTM, specialty pharmacy, or government programs

Additional Details

This is a remote role: Must reside within 250 miles of the office or within the posted state.
