The University of Colorado Anschutz Department of Orthopedics seeks a Certified Pedorthist to deliver pedorthic clinical services, evaluate patients, fit devices, educate patients, and document in Epic. The role includes coordinating with physicians and orthotics staff, scheduling and DME workflows, and maintaining CPed certification.

Onsite at the FootAnd Ankle Center in Denver, CO, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in biological science or related field.
• 1 year of professional orthotics/healthcare clinical experience.
• Active CPed credential required at hire.
• Preferred: Epic experience, scheduling, insurance authorization, and DME documentation.

Aufgaben

• Pedorthic evaluations, fittings, deliveries, adjustments, patient education, and follow-up within CPed scope and DME standards.
• Coordinate with physicians, APPs, therapists, orthotics staff, vendors and care team for questions beyond scope.
• Maintain CPed certification and compliance with CU Medicine, UCHealth, DMEPOS, payer and professional standards.
• Orthotics scheduling and patient-access support; authorization/referral workflow and documentation; ensure timely device delivery and billing.
• Prepare patient models and ensure device safety per manufacturers' guidelines.
