General Purpose of Job:
The Clinical Pathways Coordinator supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of evidence-based clinical pathways across the Driscoll Health System. This role serves as a key operational partner to physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leaders, informatics, and quality teams to ensure pathways are current, measurable, and integrated into clinical workflows. The coordinator manages pathway governance processes, tracks performance metrics, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to drive standardized, high-quality, and equitable pediatric care. Responsible for managing a specified set of documents (policies, procedures, guidelines, clinical pathways, order sets, care pathways, clinical practice guidelines, protocols, and plans) in accordance with organizational requirements. The activities related to document control include but are not limited to: maintenance of electronic directories, distribution and auditing of controlled documents; and tracking and reporting on document review progress. Maintains archival activities for controlled documents. Works with subject matter experts in a collaborative manner to prepare controlled documents, which conform to a defined organizational format. Review, proof and edit documents for consistency of format, clinical appropriateness, and compliance with organization requirements. Works with Decision Support to build a dashboard for the clinical pathways efforts within Driscoll Health System.
