ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Label Print Technician for the 2nd shift. You will support clinical packaging, labeling, and printing in a GMP environment, handling setup, operations, documentation, inventory, and quality compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience with a degree, or 3+ years without a degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately complete documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute clinical packaging and labeling operations in accordance with GMP requirements.
  • Stage materials, equipment, and rooms for production activities.
  • Set up, operate, disassemble, and clean production equipment.
  • Perform and document packaging, labeling, sampling, and de-packaging activities.
  • Print, inspect, proofread, reconcile, and maintain accountability of clinical product labels.
  • Maintain label inventory and ensure material control throughout production.
  • Process packaging and labeling documentation in compliance with GMP and GDP.
  • Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure label accuracy and product integrity.
  • Verify equipment calibration status before use.
  • Perform facility and equipment cleaning activities and complete verification procedures.
  • Identify, document, and report quality events, deviations, or non-compliance observations.
  • Maintain compliance with all site safety, quality, and training requirements

Clinical Packaging Technician - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Packaging Label Print Technician to join our Clinical Supplies team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional team supporting clinical packaging, labeling, and printing operations in a regulated GMP environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical label production, packaging activities, equipment setup and operation, documentation, inventory management, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Execute clinical packaging and labeling operations in accordance with GMP requirements.

  • Set up, operate, disassemble, and clean production equipment.
  • Perform and document packaging, labeling, sampling, and de‑packaging activities.
  • Print, inspect, proofread, reconcile, and maintain accountability of clinical product labels.
  • Maintain label inventory and ensure appropriate material control throughout the production process.
  • Process packaging and labeling documentation in compliance with GMP and GDP requirements.
  • Conduct in‑process quality inspections to ensure label accuracy and product integrity.
  • Verify equipment calibration status before use.
  • Perform facility and equipment cleaning activities and complete verification procedures.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant executive support and administration experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience with a degree, or 3+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with equipment operation and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately complete documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience working in GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical supply, manufacturing, or packaging environments.
  • Experience with label printing systems, packaging equipment, and quality documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and quality compliance requirements.
