Clinical Outreach Specialist- Nursing

About the position:

We seek a Clinical Outreach Specialist - Nursing to join our clinical recruitment team. This role involves developing relationships with clinicians and clinics to add to the AMO platform, driving nursing recruitment, and supporting hospital and clinical recruitment efforts. The person will work closely with our partnership & operations team to fulfill partner requests. Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be proactive. Up to 60% domestic travel required. This position can be fully remote but is limited to residents of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Florida, Alabama, or Minnesota.

Essential Functions:

  1. Operate in a sales-driven environment, contacting nurses, physicians, and clinical sites via email, phone, Zoom, and in person to promote precepting opportunities.
  2. Understand and manage the sales pipeline, driving new leads.
  3. Develop lead generation campaigns using CRMs (HubSpot preferred).
  4. Build and maintain relationships with potential preceptors.
  5. Guide contacts through the onboarding process.
  6. Create leads in HubSpot and convert them into preceptors.
  7. Negotiate stipends with clinical sites.
  8. Prepare and collect contract requirements.
  9. Collaborate with other teams and serve as a resource on program information.
  10. Travel up to 60% domestically.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred), MSN strongly preferred.
  • Experience in nursing recruitment, sales, or clinical site acquisition preferred.
  • Understanding of clinical competencies and pathways for nurses.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup culture preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM preferred.
  • Experience transitioning recruitment to onboarding teams.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of the clinical education market.
