Job summary

Lake Pointe Healthcare Center, a CommuniCare Rehab facility, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role in Lorain, OH. The therapist will work in-house on the rehab team, implementing treatment plans and collaborating with the Occupational Therapist to support resident independence.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, staff education, family consultation, and adherence to documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with active state license or pending license.
• Two-year OTA program graduate with accredited degree.
• PRN availability and scheduling flexibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with OT.
• Educates treatment staff and other team members involved in the plan.
• Communicates with families and conducts training as needed.
