The Ophthalmology Service handles extensive caseloads across small and large animals, with notable modern facilities and technology.

Qualifikationen

• DVM degree is required.
• Board-certified ophthalmologist (DACVO) or eligible to sit for the exam to become board-certified.
• Licensed or eligible for regular or special licenses to practice veterinary medicine in Texas.

Aufgaben

• Provide primary medical and surgical management of ophthalmology cases for small animal patients.
• Instruct veterinary students and mentor interns and residents.
• Supervise house officers and participate in rounds, journal club, and resident training.
• Engage in teleconsultation for after-hours cases and collaborate with a team of ophthalmology clinicians.
