The Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for a full-time faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Comparative Ophthalmology. Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree, with eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin required by start date.
• ACVO Diplomate or board-eligible after residency in Ophthalmology. European candidates considered if ECVO eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service in ophthalmology to patients at UW Veterinary Care hospital.
• Deliver classroom and laboratory teaching to students and house officers.
• Engage in research activities and scholarship in ophthalmology and vision science.
• Participate in service to the department and school, including after-hours clinic duties.
• Support training of residents and contribute to program growth and education.
