Job summary

Healthcare Shares PBC is seeking accomplished healthcare leaders to serve as Member of the Board of Advisors – Clinical Operations. This flexible, remote opportunity offers strategic governance guidance across a growing healthcare venture ecosystem.

Advisors will provide market insight on care delivery, digital health, and life sciences, contribute to partnerships and investment themes, and participate in board discussions with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, or operations.
• Senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, entrepreneurial, clinical, executive, or operating experience preferred.
• Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, startup, clinical, hospital, payer, provider, pharma, biotech, or innovation ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on growth, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision.
• Advise on healthcare market trends, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy.
• Contribute leadership insight across clinical care, operations, digital health, biotech, or pharma.
• Support with introductions to strengthen the firm’s ecosystem and portfolio.
• Participate in board discussions and provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to board participation and advisory activities.
• Opportunity to receive carried interest and sweat equity opportunities when applicable.
