Job summary

The Clinical Operations Program Manager in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus will partner with department leadership to monitor clinical operations across the seven divisions of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This role focuses on efficient clinic flow, high-quality patient care, and leading process improvement initiatives related to scheduling of appointments and surgeries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 4-6 years of professional experience in healthcare.
  • An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor clinic productivity, including patient visits, surgical scheduling, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee patient scheduling processes and optimize appointment utilization
  • Organizes and tracks operational processes and data collection
  • Assist in the implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with finance and billing teams to support accurate documentation and revenue cycle processes
  • Participate in strategic planning related to clinic growth and operational improvement
  • Manage and track OR utilization of the department
  • Run weekly huddle with division operational teams to maximize template utilization
  • Create and maintain operational dashboards
  • Minimizing write-offs through creation of strong operational teams
  • Performs other related duties, including special projects, as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Operations Program Manager in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine will partner with department leadership to monitor clinical operations across the 7 divisions of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic flow, high-quality patient care, and spearheading process improvement initiatives related to appointment and surgery scheduling. The Clinical Operations Program Manager works closely with faculty, staff, and administration to align clinical operations with departmental goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor clinic productivity, including patient visits, surgical scheduling, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee patient scheduling processes and optimize appointment utilization

Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with EPIC
  • Experience in outpatient and surgery scheduling
  • Master's degree in business or healthcare administration or related field

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $85,058 - $108,207.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
