Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare seeks a Clinical Manager to direct operations of one or more clinical units and drive high-quality care. The role includes staff leadership, policy development, and 24-hour departmental management in a healthcare environment.

The position requires a Master’s in nursing or related field, SC RN licensure, BLS, and at least three years of clinical nursing with management experience. Specialty certification is due within six months of starting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Current SC RN license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Nursing specialty certification within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations of the clinical area and ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate resources with physicians, clinicians and support staff for optimal department performance.
• Develop programs, policies and manage human resources including recruitment, retention and supervision.
• Ensure 24-hour administrative management of the department.
