Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a clinical unit, ensuring safe patient care, staff development, and operational excellence. You will partner with physicians and department leaders to optimize outcomes.

Minimum 2 years in healthcare management, BSN, RN license in GA, and strong communication, fiscal management, and teamwork skills are required. Advanced nursing certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • RN licensure in Georgia or Multi-State via eNLC.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • Minimum 2 years of management/administration experience in healthcare.

Job Description
  • Facilitates and manages ongoing department operations, including quality, service, fiscal, and human resources processes.
  • Supports and ensures that comprehensive patient care services are provided that support the integrity of the family system and patient care team.
  • Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
  • 2 years of experience in management/administration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced education in business, management, or related field
  • Professional nurse certification
  • Experience in management in a healthcare setting
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) (check department-specific recommendation)
Education
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing
Certification Summary
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
  • Professional Nursing Certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire.
