Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a patient care leader to supervise multiple clinics and ensure nursing practice standards are met. You will interface between clinical and support staff, guide staffing, and drive efficient operations to support MUSC’s rural health network across South Carolina.

Ideal candidates have healthcare leadership experience, strong operations skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma with 3 years experience or an Associate's degree with 1 year, or Bachelor’s with 6 months+.
• Experience in a medical capacity preferred.
• Must be able to lead patient care areas and coordinate between clinical and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct line management for patient care areas and ensures nursing standards.
• Facilitates care delivery system development and operation, including staffing and professional delivery of services.
• Manages daily operations of clinical and clerical employees, including staffing schedules, maintaining a professional atmosphere.
• Implements process goals to ensure optimal patient care and organizational objectives.
