Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Rainer Springs facility seeks an Assistant Director of Clinical Operations to oversee psychiatric and substance abuse treatment programs across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will supervise therapists, ensure documentation accuracy, and lead discharge planning with a focus on high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

This role reports to the Director and supports hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited school required.
• Independent Counseling or Social Work license required per state regulations.
• Two years of clinical experience in an inpatient behavioral health care setting required.
• Two years of experience working with patient populations served at the facility preferred.
• CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• De-escalation certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical treatment programs for psychiatric and substance abuse in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Supervise therapists via feedback, training, supervision, coaching.
• Ensure interventions are performed and documented to professional standards.
• Coordinate performance improvement, action planning, and reporting.
• Attend treatment team meetings to maintain high quality care.
• Lead discharge planning for optimal post-hospital transition.
• Collaborate with leadership on hospital operations.
