Job summary

TriHealth Women’s Services in Cincinnati is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant leader to oversee MA and back office staff, improving efficiency and continuity of patient care within a team-based clinical setting.

The role supports scheduling, triage, training, and compliance with JCAHO/HIPAA standards, while ensuring accurate documentation, stock management, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years clinical Healthcare as a Medical Assistant required.
• Knowledge of Pharmacology.
• OSHA guidelines and Managed Care awareness.
• CLIA lab processes and procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Document care and actions in patient records.
• Assist with billing, enrollment, payroll deductions and budgeting.
• Maintain patient flow from reception to exam room and lead clinical staff.
• Coordinate with physicians and front office for triage and care delivery.
• Ensure patient privacy and HIPAA compliance; manage vaccines and logs.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness, and supply management of treatment area and lab.
