Job summary

Los Angeles Community Hospitals seeks a Clinical Director to assume 24/7 leadership of clinical, staffing, quality, and financial management for the unit(s). The role ensures compliance with performance improvement processes and regulatory bodies, and drives patient safety and satisfaction in alignment with standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in an acute care hospital.
• Current RN licensure in the State of California (CA).
• BSN or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and implementation of strategic plans and department goals.
• Oversees staffing, hiring, training, coaching, and payroll processes.
• Monitors financial performance and opportunities to reduce costs.
• Ensures infection control, HIPAA compliance, and adherence to quality/safety standards.
• Promotes high patient satisfaction and effective patient care delivery.
