Job Description

The Principal Clinical Program Pharmacist is responsible for implementing strategy and developing clinical products. This role involves keeping products competitive by understanding market issues, executing the product roadmap, and maintaining clinical criteria. Routine interaction with leadership on product strategy and collaboration with other departments are essential. The Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist provides subject matter expertise and directs Prime’s Oncology Medical Specialty programs, supporting oncology business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Oncology to improve programs (90%)
  • Develop and manage complex clinical initiatives including criteria (20%)
  • Analyze market data, clinical guidelines, and claims to support strategies (20%)
  • Coordinate and implement new products and improvements (10%)
  • Represent Clinical department during customer sessions (10%)
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and external representation (10%)
  • Validate clinical product information and perform user acceptance testing (10%)
  • Establish cross-functional partnerships for decision-making (10%)
  • Collaborate with client partners as needed (5%)
  • Perform other duties as assigned (10%)
Education & Experience
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BSc Pharmacy
  • Current pharmacist license in good standing
  • At least 3 years of clinical oncology pharmacy experience
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP)
