Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Office RN who will triage patients and provide direct nursing care in a multi-provider clinic setting. You will coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support preventive services, immunizations, blood draws, and minor procedures while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

This role requires a Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and experience in a medical office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Medical Office experience is preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in state of Massachusetts. Must maintain BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage and assessment.
• Renders patient care within the scope of training, including immunizations and blood draws; documents in patient chart.
• Assists physicians with minor procedures.
• Prepares exam rooms and restocks supplies.
• Enters information for prescription refills in the EMR.
• Educates patients and families about illnesses, treatment and preventive measures.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
