Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree required; MA RN license and current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills to educate patients and interact with providers and staff.

• Strong organizational skills with good task follow-through.
• Experience in medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage and assessment.
• Renders patient care within the scope of training, including immunizations, blood draws, and vital signs documentation.
• Assists physicians with minor procedures.
• Prepares exam rooms and restocks supplies.
• Enters prescription refill information in the EMR.
• Provides safe patient care and coordinates care with the team.
• Educates patients and families about illness and treatment.
• Supports community-based activities and collaborative care.
