Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant/Clinical Lead for the Atlanta area. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical staff coverage, assisting the Office Manager with patient care workflows and ensuring tests and referrals are handled efficiently.

Requires certified Medical Assistant and CPR, plus 2–3 years gastroenterology experience; leadership skills preferred. Office-based role with HIPAA compliance and teamwork emphasis.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or Registered Medical Assistant and CPR Certification is required.
• 2–3 years of specialty clinical experience, gastroenterology experience, leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate coverage assignments for lunches and PTO; fills in for clinical office staff as needed.
• Oversees referral coordination and test tracking as directed by the Office Manager.
• Supervises staff performance and training; ensures patient care standards are met.
• Monitor clinical equipment and ensure proper functioning, calibration, and patient safety.
