Job summary

Trilab Health in Crystal Lake, IL, is seeking a Temporary Clinical Office Coordinator/Collector to collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens, label and store appropriately, and collaborate with providers and the lab to ensure efficient processing.

The role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy experience preferred, strong attention to detail and communication skills, and a male candidate due to job requirements. Working hours total 34 per week, with salary $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in specimen collection, phlebotomy, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Male applicant required due to job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens from patients in a professional manner.
• Ensure specimens are labeled and stored properly.
• Resolve billing or patient information issues in the ordering portal.
• Coordinate transport of specimens to the laboratory for testing.
• Maintain inventory of collection supplies onsite.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE as required.
• Document all specimen collection and handling activities accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
