White Oak Healthcare in Keene, NH is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions to assigned patients, helping them reach maximum functioning and community participation within their capabilities. The role requires coordinating with multidisciplinary staff, documenting records, and developing individualized home programs.

The therapist will also teach energy conservation, safety techniques, and adaptive equipment use to patients and families.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited OT program (Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate).
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Proficiency with applicable state and federal standards.

Responsabilidades

• Administers and writes evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
• Administers treatment programs to increase patients' levels of functioning.
• Designs individualized therapy for adult learning-disabled patients.
• Provides prevention therapy to maintain functional skills; instructs energy conservation and safety techniques.
• Instructs families in personal care and proper transfer techniques to avoid back strain.
• Develops home programs and instructs patients or families in carrying out such programs.
• Participates in patient support groups with other team members.
