SIU Medicine in Springfield, IL seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology educator/clinician to participate in the development and delivery of instructional and clinical activities in the Department of OB/GYN. This on-site position emphasizes teaching, patient care, and scholarly activities within the SIU Medicine mission.

The role includes supervising residents and students, providing attending coverage, and participating in departmental and hospital committees as directed by the Chair.

Qualificações

• Completion of an approved residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Board certification or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in development and delivery of instructional and clinical activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Provide clinical teaching and patient care as part of the SIU Medicine mission.
• Provide resident and medical student supervision; attend coverage as needed.
• Develop a general OB/GYN private practice emphasis and ensure evidence-based care.
• Provide attending coverage for gynecological services and participate in rounds.
• Staff resident clinics and surgical cases; collaborate with faculty.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and university committees as directed.

Formação académica

Residency in obstetrics and gynecology completed

Board certification or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Licensure in Illinois eligible
