Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the development and delivery of all instructional and clinical activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Teach and evaluate medical students and residents; conduct seminars, rounds, discussions, and mentor learners.
• Participate in continuing medical education programs in Obstetrics and Gynecology at local and national levels.
• Staff resident clinics and surgical cases; supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students as needed.
• Provide consultative assistance to department, hospital, and university committees; support mission and quality improvement efforts.
