Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Registered Dietitian Lead to guide clinical nutrition, perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, and develop care plans. You will be a training and education resource for the team while collaborating closely with medical providers, nursing, therapy, and culinary staff on-site to optimize patient nutrition outcomes.

The role requires an RD/RDN with 3–5 years of clinical experience and a Master’s degree to sit for the exam, plus ongoing licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD Nutritionist (RDN) per CDR.
• Master’s degree required to take the RD exam as of 2024.
• Must maintain state licensure and registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical nutrition team and provide patient nutrition assessments.
• Develop nutrition care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Document plans in the EMR and coordinate with care teams.
• Provide education/resources and contribute to CQI activities.
• Support program marketing and training for staff.
