Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage a complex caseload through comprehensive nutrition assessments and focused exams. You will develop nutrition care plans, monitor outcomes, and provide patient and family counseling within a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities include creating education materials, participating in quality improvement, and mentoring staff. The role requires RD credentials within six months of hire and a Master’s degree to sit for the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or equivalent coursework.
• RD credentials required within 6 months of hire.
• Master’s degree required to be eligible to take the RD examination (per 2024 updated rule).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and nutrition-focused physical exams.
• Develop and manage nutrition care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Provide patient and family nutrition counseling and education.
• Contribute to Nutrition Standards of Practice and education materials.
• Lead in quality improvement activities and mentor new staff/interns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team for optimal nutrition outcomes.
