Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Nutrition Coordinator to work with the Food Service Director and Registered Dietitian to deliver quality nutritional services for patients in a post-acute care setting.

You will manage nutrition documentation, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure diets are prepared accurately, and support a safe, compliant environment. Prior dietary management experience and active state licensure are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Certified dietary manager or meet Federal/State regulations.
• Experience documenting nutrition for post-acute care patients.
• Active license in the applicable state with good standing.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough and timely nutrition documentation for each patient.
• Plan and direct food service staff to prepare high quality meals on time.
• Ensure physician-ordered diets are prepared and served accurately.
• Order food and supplies for preparation and service; review deliveries for quality and pricing.
• Assist with additional food service duties as required.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients as needed.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and professionalism on interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies including compliance.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
