Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Nutrition Coordinator to work with the Food Service Director and Registered Dietitian to meet patient nutritional needs and uphold quality care standards. The role emphasizes accurate nutrition documentation, proper diet preparation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support post-acute care goals.

The position requires certification or eligibility as a dietary manager, active licensure where required, and prior healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Certified dietary manager OR meet the requirements in the Federal/State regulations.
• Experience in nutrition documentation for post acute care patients.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State (if State required). Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• Prior health care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough and timely nutrition documentation for each patient to identify problems, issues, or needs.
• Plan and direct food service staff to prepare and serve high quality food on time and at proper temperature for meals and snacks.
• Ensure that physician orders for diets are prepared and served accurately.
• Order food and supplies for preparation and service, reviewing deliveries for quality and pricing.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; work within interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate good judgment and dependability in a healthcare setting.
