Job summary

Hometown Health in Reno, NV seeks a Nurse Supervisor to direct and coordinate the delivery of patient care on the nursing unit, aligning with organizational goals and a shared governance approach.

The role requires leadership to coach staff, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and adapt hours to support all shifts while maintaining ANA ethical standards and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred, or pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree upon hire.
• Two years experience as a Staff RN preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license.
• Current AHA BLS certification by American Heart Association standards required. Professional certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate delivery of patient care on the nursing unit.
• Serve as role model, resource, and coach to nursing staff for professional development.
• Facilitate professional relationships between physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to plan care.
• Adjust hours to be a resource to all shifts and promote evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate activities of health team members to maintain a high-performing unit and staff engagement.
