Job summary

UW–Madison School of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Faculty member to teach in traditional and accelerated BSN programs, as well as possible graduate courses such as DNP or PhD. The role emphasizes hands-on instruction in clinical and simulated environments, with collaboration across faculty and a commitment to excellence in nursing education.

This 9-month, full-time on-site position requires teaching in-person and dedication to student success, clinical hours, and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• One or more years of teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate levels in nursing.
• Three or more years of professional experience in adult acute care settings as an RN, APRN, or CNS.

Responsibilities

• Teach in baccalaureate, accelerated, traditional, and DNP/PhD programs based on needs.
• Ensure students meet required clinical hours and learning objectives in clinical courses.
• Utilize active learning, simulation, and clinical experiences across health care settings.
• Collaborate on curriculum planning and assessment with graduate and undergraduate programs.
• Engage in scholarly activities and service within the School of Nursing.
