Job summary

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) seeks qualified Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructors in Basic Skills, Med-Surge, Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Mental Health Nursing. The adjunct will supervise up to 10 students in eight weeks of clinical practice, with 45 hours hands-on and 10 hours paperwork, primarily face-to-face with potential remote instruction.

PVCC is a nonresidential two-year institution serving Central Virginia.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching or related experience preferred.
• Experience with online teaching is a plus.
• Must possess a current Virginia nursing license and meet faculty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate student performance in clinical settings.
• Coordinate with full-time nursing faculty to review clinical objectives.
• Provide direct feedback to students on clinical performance.
