Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Vascular Access Nurse for full-time night shifts (0.9 FTE) at the Thomas campus. The role involves providing ultrasound-guided vascular access across hospital and outpatient settings, including PICC insertions and blood draws, to pediatric patients.

Ideal candidates have prior ICU/CVICU/Emergency/Trauma nursing experience, ultrasound-guided IV proficiency, and an Arizona RN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• Two year ADN or BSN or Diploma required.
• Current AZ RN license or compact state license with multistate privileges.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Ultrasound-guided IV experience required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun (days vary), Nights, 6pm-6:30amPosting Note: Phoenix Children’s is seeking experienced Vascular Access Nurses for full-time (0.9 FTE) night shift opportunities at Thomas campus. Flexibility to float to other campuses highly preferred. In this highly specialized role, the nurse will provide vascular access services across the hospital and outpatient clinics, including PICC line insertions, ultrasound-guided IVs, and blood draws. Ultrasound-guided IV experience is required. Pediatric experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, clinically strong RN who can work independently throughout the hospital while supporting pediatric patients with vascular access maintenance. Ultrasound guided IV experience is highly preferred. This team plays a critical role in ensuring safe and effective vascular access care for all children we serve. Required Experience: Vascular Access, ICU, CVICU, Emergency, or Trauma nursing Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate closely with providers regarding orders *This position requires prior experience. Requirements

Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree (Required)

Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date (Required)

Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date (Required)

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program (Preferred)
