Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing services in a 362-bed acute-care setting in Inglewood, CA. You will partner with the unit Director and Nursing leadership to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes operational oversight, staff training, and direct patient care as needed. A California RN license, BCLS/ACLS, and 2+ years of nursing leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse license.
• Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation certificate within 30 days from date of hire.
• Current NIHSS certificate required within 90 days from date of hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Violence in the Workplace training within 90 days from date of hire.
• CCRN certificate preferred for Intensive Care
• NRP required 90 days after hire and maintained
• Professional Certification within 2 years of hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibility for the department service functions and collaborate with the unit Director and/or Manager.
• Develop and implement departmental plans including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee orientation and training of personnel and communicate with staff, physicians, and administration.
• Ensure the efficient functions of the department and supervise staff during shifts.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice when needed.
