Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to lead frontline caregivers and patients toward high-quality care in an environment that supports professional growth and clinical excellence.

You will oversee nursing and support staff across inpatient, emergency, and skilled nursing units, serving as the critical link between caregivers and hospital leadership. You will be expected to mentor staff, implement clinical initiatives, and role-model ethical and moral

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current North Dakota RN license (compact state).
• BLS certification required on hire; professional resuscitation credentials.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient nursing, administration and regulations; strong communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and support staff across inpatient, emergency, and skilled nursing units.
• Mentor staff and implement clinical initiatives.
• Direct staffing allocations to meet patient and unit demands.
• Drive safety, quality, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Coordinate operating systems, service protocols and communication.
• Manage department resources and budgets; ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulations.
