Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support operations and patient care in designated areas in Granite City, Illinois. You will serve as a clinical resource, assist with staffing needs as requested, and take on managerial duties when delegated.

Commitment to Mercy’s mission and standards is essential. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in Nursing and have supervisory or rehabilitation experience, with CRRN certification viewed favorably.

Qualifications

Must have a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice.
Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
Two or three years' experience required in patient care.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
Rehabilitation experience preferred.
CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed.
Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
