The Clinical Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing staff and patient care activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality care delivery. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and documenting care plans, and evaluating outcomes. They supervise unit personnel, coordinate patient admissions and discharges, authorize overtime, and manage workflows. The role involves participating in routine projects, collaborating with medical staff, and resolving complex care issues. Additionally, they assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining staff while providing guidance on sensitive issues.
