Job summary

Qualifications
- Develops area of specialty competency criteria for outcome monitoring.
- Provides coaching and counseling to nursing staff and other health care providers.
- Manages high risk patients in area of specialty to achieve safe, high quality outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
- Leads multidisciplinary project teams and implements specialty education programs.
Responsibilities
- Develops specialty competency criteria and participates in staff evaluations.
- Interviews staff and contributes to performance evaluations and action plans.
- Conducts cost/benefit analyses of new clinical technologies and budgets.
- Provides coaching to nursing staff and other health care providers.
- Rounds with the multi-disciplinary team to support change in nursing practice.
