Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide expert procedural nursing care across outpatient services, focusing on the Digestive Health Center and Ambulatory Procedure Center. You will lead evidence-based practice, mentor staff, and partner with a multidisciplinary team to advance care delivery in pre/post and bedside settings.

This 100% FTE role requires a Master's and Doctorate in Nursing, APRN licensure in Wisconsin, CNS certification, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical expert across outpatient procedural services, supporting nursing practice at the Digestive Health Center and University Hospital's Ambulatory Procedure Center (APC).
• Lead evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives for complex procedural care.
• Provide clinical consultation, mentorship, and education to nursing staff; support integration of new technology and procedures.
• Help shape the future of outpatient procedural care through collaboration with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary partners.
