The role requires APRN licensure, CNS certification, and a minimum of three years of nursing practice, with credentialing for prescribing eligibility as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and APRN licensure are required.
• Master’s or Doctoral program in CNS or post‑Master’s certificate.
• CNS certification required unless prior exception applies.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing practice.
• Active prescriber certificate or eligibility required; credentialing process ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical expertise and education to promote high‑quality patient care and nursing excellence.
• Lead evidence‑based practice (EBP) initiatives and quality improvement across multiple sites (Canton, Alliance, Orrville).
• Write APRN notes and bill for patient services as indicated.
• Mentor nurses and develop advanced classes for healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with physician leadership and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
