Job summary

Palmetto Infusion in Georgia is seeking a Clinical Nurse Practitioner to provide oversight for infusions across ambulatory infusion centers. The role ensures safe administration and compliance with protocols in a collaborative team environment.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with Saturdays as needed. Service areas include Watkinsville, GA, with potential to float to other clinics as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP program with active FNP license in state(s) of practice.
• Experience in family physician settings and knowledge of chronic diseases.
• BLS certification or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a changing environment.
• Ability to work as a team member with Palmetto Infusion staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
• Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians as part of the Palmetto Infusion team.
• Perform nursing functions as needed.
• Oversee infusions delivered in the ambulatory infusion center (AIC).
• Travel to other AICs for staffing coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of infusion therapies and developments.

About the Role

The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Saturdays as needed.

Service Areas: Watkinsville, GA and may float to other clinics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
• Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions

• Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
• Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development as needed.
• Able to work as a team member with all members of PIS. Working alongside with nurses and other NPs/MDs.
• Able to perform nursing functions as needed.
• Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
• Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
• Maintains strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.

About the Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $55–60/hour. Final compensation is based on factors including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
