Job description

Provides direct pediatric emergency care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards.

Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration.

Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the interprofessional team and families, and communicates effectively across care settings.

Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers, including cultural and spiritual considerations.

Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of pediatric emergency or acute care experience.
