Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs physical, psychological, and social assessment of patients.
• Assists physicians during exams, diagnostic testing and treatments.
• Administers medications, including intravenous therapy; reports adverse reactions.
• Develops and implements discharge plans and patient education.
• Records vital signs and documents care given; communicates with health care team.
