Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee the Wound Care Center's clinical activities, patient assessments, and care planning. Responsibilities include supervising RNs and support staff, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and driving quality improvement initiatives while coordinating with hospital leadership and other providers.

Qualifications

  • RN license required.
  • AT LEAST ADN; BSN preferred.
  • 1 year RN experience required; supervisory exp preferred.
  • Wound care certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required.

Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, including patient care assessment and planning, quality improvement, and collaboration with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet program objectives and ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
  • Proficient in all responsibilities related to case management, including assessments, procedural skills, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
  • Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities and provides oversight to clinical staff such as RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
  • Collaborates with other health care providers, key hospital personnel, Wound Care Center providers, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinical and patient needs.
  • Consistently improves processes and procedures while complying with HIPAA, DOH, hospital and Healogics requirements.
  • Engages in staff development, providing services and individual instruction and orientation.
  • Provides staff recognition through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborates with Program Director in coordination of program objectives from a budgetary and financial perspective.
  • Coordinates vein clinic services and assists in providing care after Healogics Vein Clinic training if the program provides Vein Care services.
  • Collaborates with Program Director and Medical Director to achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators.
  • May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics and hospital policies.
  • May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing required Healogics hyperbaric safety director training.
  • May act as a chamber operator or an emergency chamber operator following required hyperbaric training.
  • Performs patient care based on Center staffing needs.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Required Education, Experience and Credentials
  • Current RN license required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required; BSN preferred.
  • One year experience as an RN required; two or more years preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Wound care certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
  • Planning, organization, prioritization and time‑management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment and to communicate in layman’s terms at all levels of the organization.

The salary for this position generally ranges between $78,900.00 and $106,300.00 annually. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, including education, experience, geography, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
