Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN licensure must be Florida or a Compact State.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (ARC or AHA).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification/training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nursing unit or department in collaboration with Sr Nurse Manager/Director.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage.
• Nurse Leader rounding on patients and team members.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding clinical questions and concerns.
