Job summary

Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Massachusetts seeks an experienced nurse leader to supervise the clinical operations on all nursing floors in the absence of the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing. You will assume administrative responsibilities for the Center when executive staff are unavailable.

The role emphasizes staff development, quality care, and collaboration with the DON and nursing leadership to maintain standards, safety, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Massachusetts license as an RN.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; ANA Certifications in Geriatrics and/or Nursing Administration preferred.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a similar setting; acute care experience recommended.
• BLS Certification required / ACLS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical operations on all nursing floors in the absence of the Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing.
• Communicate with patients, families and health professionals with respect and sensitivity.
• Conduct clinical rounds to ensure nursing care is provided appropriately.
• Adjust staffing and time scheduling to meet immediate needs and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager/DON on annual reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with established nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in Quality Improvement program and committees.
