Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Clinical Nurse Leader – Bedside Care & Outcomes to provide expert nursing leadership for a defined patient cohort. The position requires a master’s degree in nursing, RN licensure in the state, and CNL certification, with 40 hours per week on-site schedule in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required and CNL certification.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; BLS per policy.
• Clinical nursing experience coordinating care and leading quality/safety work.

Responsibilities

• Provides bedside clinical leadership for a defined patient cohort through rounds, assessments, chart review, and communication with the care team.
• Provides direct/indirect patient care support within RN scope to maintain safety and progression of care.
• Performs real-time clinical surveillance and escalation for early changes in condition and safety risks.
• Escalates to providers/leaders and assists with timely interventions and documentation.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary care through rounds, hallway huddles, throughput discussions, and discharge planning.
• Leads alignment of physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders around patient-specific goals.
• Implements evidence-based protocols and monitors outcomes like falls, infections, and delirium risk.
• Uses dashboards and audits to translate findings into real-time feedback and improvements.
