VCU Health seeks a Clinical Nurse I–III to deliver age-specific patient care, administer medications, and support a multidisciplinary care plan. The role emphasizes leadership, education, and adherence to Virginia nursing regulations within a unit setting.

Candidates should have Virginia licensure or eligibility, a nursing diploma/associate degree, and capacity to enroll in an RN-BSN program within two years, with completion in five years. Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in nursing required.
• Enrol in an approved RN to BSN program within two years and complete within five years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Clin II requires 12–24 months RN experience; Clin III requires 3 years of clinical experience.
• Academic Health Care experience or similar patient population preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and document direct, age-specific care to patients per medical orders and an integrated plan of care.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and identify incompatibilities or interactions.
• Provide direction, education, and assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
• Collaborate with the health care team to prevent illness, maintain wellness, and provide comfort.
• Follow regulations governing nursing practice in Virginia and adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and facility policies.
